Asbestosis Symptoms

The most common symptoms of asbestosis are:

  • Progressive breathlessness
  • Cough
  • Fatigue
  • Less common symptoms of asbestosis are:-
  • Blood in the sputum
  • Swelling in the neck or face
  • Difficulty swallowing
  • Loss of appetite
  • Weight loss
  • Finger clubbing – a rounded drumstick deformity of the fingertips can be caused by inadequate ventilation to the extremities.
  • Hypertension
