At the National Asbestos Helpline it is our mission to help, support and provide you with important information about the medical and legal processes. We can put you in contact with charities and organisations that can provide information and assistance on the medical aspect of your condition. We can also put you in contact with charities and private organisations that can help in practical ways, for example organisations that can provide care and assistance, including services provided by your local council’s social services department.
We can also help and advise you in respect of the government benefits available to you and help you complete those application forms. We can talk to you about the legal process and arrange for you to be represented by specialist asbestos solicitors.
We can also provide emotional and psychological support by talking to you and listening and offering our advice, guidance and the understanding we have gained from helping asbestos sufferers for many years.
